Mysuru: Understanding the hygiene issues being faced by women among migrant workers and other deprived sections of the society during the lockdown period, Edin Synergy has been providing sanitary pads to these women.

It has identified 30 different locations in the city and has been distributing good and sanitary pads free of cost. So far, it has distributed 1000 pads and will continue to do so until the lockdown is relaxed.

Edin Synergy convener Goutham BM told that sanitary pads are also essential for women. Considering the situation they are in now, it is not possible to maintain hygiene now. So, we deputed women volunteers to distribute sanitary pads to the needy, he added.

Many women were highly appreciative of Edin Synergy’s gesture.
