Mysuru: Mysuru-based Sri Avadhootha Datta Peetha has been taking care of the needs of at least 15,000 people everyday in Andhra Pradesh and the United States of America, during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ashram seer Sri Ganapathi Sachidananda said that volunteers across the country and in USA have been preparing food to be distributed among the needy. The Ashram volunteers are also providing grocery kit to the needy who are homebound due to lockdown.

In Andhra Pradesh, the Ashram is working round-the-clock to distribute food packets to 15,000 needy, everyday.

The Ashram also donated 30,000 kg rice among other groceries to the district administration.

Apart from this, the Ashram is also hosting live sessions by Sri Ganapathi Sachidananda Seer through social media that connects more than 20,000 people, everyday.

The live sessions are in a way healing to people who are finding it difficult to live amidst Covid-19 pandemic. Also, it boosts their morale to stay positive during this crisis.
